This smoothie is healthy,right?

2/3 of a container of 80 calorie, fatfree vanilla yogurt (dannon light&fit)
1/2 cup crushed ice
2/3 cup water
4 frozen strawberries
5 or 6 frozen raspberries
2 teaspoons of wheat germ

I mean it sounds healthy right? I also make the exact same smoothie, only instead of strawberries and raspberries, I use blackberries and blueberries, mmm!

    What is your favorite muffin?

I like Blueberry and here is a great recipe:

    3 Cups all-purpose flour
    1 Tbs baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt

    5 Tbs unsalted butter
    5 Tbs salted butter
    1 cup sugar
    2 large eggs
1 1/2 cub plain yogurt (can use regular yoplait blueberry)

    1 1/2 cups blueberries
    1 Tbs flour

    1. Adjust the oen rack to the middle-lower part of the oven. Preheat oven to 375F. Grease muffin pan.

    2. Whisk together the flour, baking bowder, baking soda, and salt and set aside.

    3. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together, beating until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating until incorporated after each one.

4 Beat in one half of the dry ingredients until just incorporated. Beat in 1/3 of the yogert. Beat in remaining dry ingredients, then remaining yogert. Fold in blueberries. If using frozen, defrost and coat w/flour.

    5. Add to muffin pans and bake for 20 min.
This makes 12 large muffins, you can fill with dough to the top. They rise but will not make a mess or overflow.

      Smoothies recipes without ice?

I have to make smoothies for my job but we don’t have an ice machine, and it’s a health food store so they want us to use almond milk instead of real milk. I have access to frozen fruits (peaches, strawberries and blueberries), yogurts (vanilla, raspberry almond-gurt, peach greek yogurt), almond and coconut milk, and sweeteners like agave and coconut nectar. We also have apple, lemon ginger, apple carrot and vegetable juices. The last stuff I made according to the recipe I had tasted awful and I REALLY need new recipes.

        Smoothie smoothie smoothie!?

I love smoothies, because I don’t really drink enough (or any) milk. So I can make these, add some fruit, sometimes yogurt, and sugar. Easy and good.

So how long can I keep it? I want to make a lot on day, so I can have a smoothie instead of some random snack. If they can store, here’s what I shall do:
The dollar store has metal water bottles, so buy a few for smoothie keeping.
Put them in there and keep them
Pour them out when I want them.

        Ingredients:
Blueberries (Or other frozen fruit, whatever I have, I just love blueberries best)
Milk (Enough to make it creamy)
Sugar (Just enough to make it taste good)
And if it’s on hand, some yogurt.

So how long would it stay good?

And on the topic of smoothies, what kind do you like best and why? (Recipes please)
And if I freeze it, will it turn into a block of ice (And will it melt good?) or a fancy ice cream treat?

Help! Am I eating too much?

Is this too much for a diet and should i take away more calories or add more?

          Oatmeal with cereal on top

3:00p.m I have a 240z smoothie at our gym ( It is a low calorie smoothie with just Soymilk, Blueberries, Strawberries,Sugar free Vanilla syrup, and a protein boost blended with just ice, and thats all they put in it)

Then i ran eight miles on the treadmill at 7mph+ and streghth train a little bit

Then I had a turkey cranberry wrap with a small salad and
frozen fat free yogurt for dessert with a little bit of cereal on top

Is this good? what should i do to it if not?

            fruit smoothies……???

I am in the mood for a fruit smoothie.
I was going to buy more fruit today but there is a snow storm outside so this is what i have in the house…

            oranges
            apples
            frozen berries…raspberries…blueberries…and so on
            and
            one Lemon

i only have milk no ice cream or yogurt.

so is it possible for me to make one with just milk and those fruits…do you have any recipes? or should i just brave the snow storm and get yogurt?

Are fruit smoothies a good healthy option?

I make them at home everyday after school. I add nonfat frozen yogurt, a mixture of strawberries, bannanas, blueberries, raspberries, etc. and orange juice. Is it healthy?

                    How do I make a blueberry-banana smoothie?

Hi. I have some questions about making a blueberry-banana smoothie. I have blueberries and a banana already.

                    1) Is it true that using ice cubes waters down the taste?

                    2) If I freeze the fruit how long should it be for? Until the fruit is rock hard?

                    3) Why do recipes include yogurt, milk, strawberries, cinnamon, honey among other things, when I don’t see these ingredients used at a smoothie store? Do I really need them?

                    4) Is there any order to what ingredients I put in the blender first?

                    5) How long do I blend and at what speed?
                    6) Some sites say use vanilla yogurt others say use yogurt that is the same as the flavour of the smoothie? Which one do I use and if its blueberry yogurt, do I use the yogurt with the blueberries at the bottom or blueberry flavoured yogurt?

                    7) How much of each ingredient do I use?
